Azat Akhtyamov

Azat Akhtyamov has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Azat currently holds the position of Senior Computer Vision Engineer at OPTIC since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Severstal Digital, where they served as the Head of Computer Vision Department from January 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they worked as the Lead Analyst (Computer Vision Team Lead) from April 2020 to January 2021. Azat also worked as a Deep Learning Researcher at Diagnocat from October 2018 to April 2020. Azat has experience in the financial sector as well, having worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Sberbank from November 2017 to October 2018, and as a Junior Quantitative Analyst at Aton Asset Management from December 2016 to September 2017. Additionally, Azat has worked as a Research Consultant at WorldQuant LLC from October 2015 to November 2016, and as a Data Scientist at Alfa-Bank from June 2016 to October 2016.

Azat Akhtyamov completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, graduating in 2015. During this time, they also obtained certifications in Econometrics, Regression Models, and R Programming from Coursera in 2015. Azat then pursued a Master's degree in Data Analysis and Management (Computer Science and Engineering) at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, graduating in 2017.
