Kristina Rakova

Kristina Rakova has a diverse work experience in the field of computer vision engineering. Kristina is currently employed at OPTIC as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Центр недвижимости от Сбербанка from 2020 to 2022 as a Computer Vision Engineer. In this role, they served as a tech lead for computer vision projects, supervised projects, developed models on PyTorch, led dataset collection and annotation, conducted research seminars, and participated in team hiring. Before that, they worked at Samsung R&D Institute & AI Center Russia as an Engineer from 2019 to 2020, where they constructed synthetic datasets and developed algorithms. Kristina also worked as an Assistant Engineer at Samsung from 2018 to 2019. Prior to joining Samsung, they were a Trainee Researcher at the Institute for Scientific Research of Aerospace Monitoring "AEROCOSMOS" from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as an Analyst at GlowByte Consulting from August 2016 to October 2016.

Kristina Rakova obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Math and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) between 2013 and 2017. Kristina then pursued further education and received their Master of Science (MS) degree in both Applied Math and Physics from the same institution from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
