Sarah Helminiak has extensive experience in various marketing and leadership roles. Sarah is currently the Director of Marketing at Optica since 2022. Prior to that, Sarah served as the Vice President of Marketing and Membership at PRINTING United Alliance from 2018 to 2021, where they oversaw a team of professionals and directed major rebranding and website launch efforts. Before that, they worked as the Director of Community Development at SGIA from 2017 to 2018, managing budgets, annual conferences, and trade shows. Sarah also held positions at Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute, Inc. as the Marketing & Communications Manager from 2016 to 2017 and at Marabu North America as the Sales & Marketing Coordinator from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they have volunteer experience as a Staff Educator at the Center for Birds of Prey and project management experience at Coastal Glass Distributors and Port City Glass. Sarah began their career as an Executive Assistant at APCO Graphics from 2006 to 2008.
Sarah Helminiak attended The Madeira School from 1996 to 2000. Sarah then went on to study at the College of Charleston from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Art History/Historic Preservation.
