Sigurdur Helgason has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Sigurdur started in 2016 as the Founder of Pragmarte AB, a role they still hold. In 2017, they worked as a Senior Management Consultant at Opticos - The Power of Knowing until 2018. Sigurdur then joined IKEA Group as a Product Owner for Web & eCommerce - Shopping from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Senior Consultant at Acando until 2019. From 2019 to present, Sigurdur has been a Senior Consultant at Opticos - with you, for you. Sigurdur was also an Agile Coach at Alfa Laval from 2020 to 2021 and a Product Owner at Jula AB from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they worked as an Online/eCom Subject Matter Expert at Husqvarna Group from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are an Agile Coach and Product Owner at Inter IKEA Systems B.V.
Sigurdur Helgason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Skövde, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in project management and as a Certified ScrumMaster from Tieto in May 2005 and the Scrum Alliance in August 2007, respectively.
