Optics 1
Richard Wengenroth is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in systems and optical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Optics 1 since May 2020. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Systems and Optical Engineering Manager at Wilcox Industries, where responsibilities included leading interdisciplinary engineering teams, developing specialty military products, and ensuring compliance with program requirements. Richard's earlier experience includes managing operations as a Facilities Operations Engineer for Billowvista/Cibola Properties and conducting research as a Research Assistant at both University Medical Center Groningen and Stevens Institute of Technology. Richard holds a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from Stevens Institute of Technology.
