Andrew Korts

Andrew Korts has a diverse work experience in the field of optics and engineering. Andrew currently works as an Optical Engineer at Optikos Corporation. Prior to this, they were a Senior Design project manager and Optomechanical Designer at Nighthawk Solutions, where they worked on creating a prototype telescope. At the University of Rochester, Andrew served as the Head Lab Teaching Assistant and Optics Lab Teaching Assistant. Andrew also gained experience as a Wafer Alignment Sensor Intern at ASML and an Optical Metrology Intern at IDEX Health & Science. In addition, Andrew has retail experience as a Store Assistant at Jim Dalberth Sporting Goods. Lastly, they held various leadership roles on the FIRST Robotics Team 340, including President, Head of Design and Manufacturing, and Head of Strategy.Overall, Andrew Korts has demonstrated their expertise in optics, engineering, project management, teaching, and leadership throughout their work experience.

Andrew Korts attended Churchville-Chili Senior High School from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Optical Engineering/Optomechanical Engineering at the University of Rochester.
