Pellegrino Conte has a strong background in optical engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Pellegrino is currently working as an Optical Engineer at Optikos Corporation since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Optics 1 as an Optical Engineer from June 2019 to March 2021. Pellegrino also gained valuable experience as an Intern at Honeywell Aerospace, where they worked in the Advanced Research and Technology group, focusing on optical modeling and data analysis tasks. Additionally, they had internships at Nova Biomedical, where they worked on correcting aberrations in imaging systems and developed testing procedures for optical objectives, and at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where they designed and wrote algorithms for assessing stellar objects. Pellegrino's early experience includes a Young Scholars Program Engineering Internship at Northeastern University, where they conducted research on delays in control systems using MATLAB.
Pellegrino Conte's education history begins with their attendance at Xaverian Brothers High School from 2010 to 2014, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Rochester, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Optical Engineering from 2014 to 2018. During this time, they also obtained a Certificate in Quantum and Nano-Optics from the Institute of Optics in May 2018. Subsequently, Conte continued their studies at the University of Rochester and obtained a Master's Degree in Optical Engineering from 2018 to 2019.
