Carlos Alberto Ordoñez Hoyos

Carlos Alberto Ordoñez Hoyos has had a long and successful career in the technology industry. Carlos Alberto began their career in 1995 as a Lider Tecnico at Open International Systems Corp. In 2008, they moved to Optima Consulting SAS as Gerente General. In 2012, they became Director Ejecutivo - CEO and Presidente of Optima Corporation, a Colombian company with international reach and offices in Colombia, USA, and Ecuador. At Optima Corporation, they provided consulting services and was a leader in Oracle Technology, providing excellent quality services in database administration, database tuning, application tuning, system information development, custom project development, business intelligence, and application support. Carlos Alberto was also responsible for the development of three excellent quality products: ORM, GIRO, and CRM. In 2015, they became Presidente Junta Directiva of the Cluster de Tecnologia - PacifiTIC, where they worked to strengthen the competitiveness of the Valle del Cauca and Pacific region through competitive improvement, research, innovation, and the appropriation of information and communication technologies applied to different economic and social environments. In 2019, they moved to STRATEGY & SYNERGY as Chief Technology Officer.

Carlos Alberto Ordoñez Hoyos studied Ingeniero de Sistemas at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 1989 to 1995, with a focus on Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration. Carlos Alberto also obtained an OCA 9i from Oracle, specializing in DBA.
