Ketan Ameta, PE, is an experienced electrical designer with a focus on commercial, residential, and educational building projects. Currently employed at Optima Engineering PA as an Electrical Designer since October 2022, Ketan creates electrical systems for new constructions and retrofits. Previous roles include Electrical Designer II at VP Engineering, responsible for low voltage and fire alarm distribution systems, and Electrical Designer I at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where Ketan worked on advanced power electronics projects as a Graduate Research Assistant. Early career experience includes designing residential electrical systems at DIMENSION BUILDCON PRIVATE LIMITED. Ketan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology.
