Samantha Pierce Eit (Malmfelt)

Samantha Malmfelt Pierce, EIT, is a Mechanical Designer at Optima Engineering PA since November 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Engineer at BL Companies from May 2020 to November 2021, and a Thermodynamics I Grader at the UNC Charlotte Department of Mechanical Engineering from August 2019 to May 2020, assisting the professor and students with assignments. Samantha also held a Mechanical Engineering Intern position at Summer Consultants, Inc. during the summer of 2019, focusing on solving engineering problems for various clients. Earlier roles include serving as a TA/Grader for Computational Methods for Engineers at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in early 2019. Samantha earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, following a high school diploma from Middle Creek High School.
