Charissa P. Drake, MBA, CHC, CPC-A, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance and financial analysis within the healthcare sector. Since July 2009, Charissa has held multiple roles at Optima Health, including Contract Compliance Manager, Compliance Manager, and Pharmacy Contract Manager. Prior to this, Charissa worked at Sentara Healthcare from January 2000 to July 2009 as a Decision Support Analyst and Senior Internal Auditor. Additional experience includes positions as a Financial Analyst and Tax Auditor with the State of North Carolina from 1995 to 2000, and as an Internal Auditor at High Point Bank from 1993 to 1995. Charissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and an MBA from Averett University, as well as a certificate in Computer Programming from ECPI.
