Makayla Nyambura has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Makayla started their career in 2019 as a Harvard Tour Guide at Trademark Tours, where they developed strong public speaking and interpersonal skills while interacting with guests of different backgrounds. In 2020, they took on the role of Virtual Peer Advisor at Harvard Summer School, assisting students with their academic and personal needs. During the same year, they also served as a Teaching Fellow for CS61 Systems Programming and Machine Organization at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. In 2021, Makayla interned as an SDE Intern at Amazon, gaining valuable experience in software development.
