Staff Electrical Engineer at Optimal Design

Rodrigo Flores has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Rodrigo began their career in 2010 as a Machine Operator at Jiminy Chips. In 2011, they worked as a Cook at Brunswick Zone XL and concurrently served as a Manager at the College Programming Board. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Crew Member at McDonald's Corporation. In 2015, they joined Optimal Design as a Senior Electrical Engineer, a position they held until 2019. Rodrigo then joined Nidec Mobility America Corporation as an Electrical Design Engineer until 2020. Currently, Rodrigo holds the position of Lead Electrical Engineer at Optimal Design, a role they have been in since June 2020.

Rodrigo Flores started their education by attending Elgin Community College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate's Degree of Engineering Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2012 to 2014, completing their Bachelor's Degree in the same field of study.
