Vinay Valleru

Vinay Valleru is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Optimal EV, responsible for the design and release of components for electric buses and Heavy-Duty Chassis, utilizing CATIA and DFMEA methodologies. Prior experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at Curtiss Motorcycle Co., where Vinay led engineering tasks in a start-up environment and developed various 3D CAD models for machined and molded parts. Earlier roles included tutoring and assisting professors at The University of Kansas in Physics and Mathematics, as well as an industrial trainee position at Shanmuga Precision Forging, focusing on CNC programming and precision metal part design. Vinay holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from SASTRA University.
