Andreas van Heesch

Andreas van Heesch has extensive experience in category management within the retail and sports sectors. Currently serving as the Category Manager Interior and Interim Category Director Interior at Optimera AS since March 2024, Andreas previously held the position of VP Category Manager Footwear at XXL Sport & Villmark from April 2021 to March 2024. In this role, Andreas was responsible for the entire shoe selection, including children's and adult's casual, winter, rain, and sandal shoes, overseeing assortment, pricing, strategy, budget, and negotiations. Prior experience includes roles at INTERSPORT Norge as an Innkjøpskoordinator, and various positions at Gresvig AS from 2014 to 2020, culminating as Produktsjef focusing on footwear. Early career includes managing operations at G-Sport Sandvika, providing valuable experience in sales, campaign execution, and team leadership. Andreas holds a degree in Market Economy from BI Norwegian Business School, completed in 2022, and additional education from Hurdal Verk Folkehøgskole and Sogn Videregåendeskole.
