Julien Mazars has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Julien started their career in 2011 at Vicomtech, where they developed a software module for Image guided surgery. In 2013, they worked at CEA, specializing in IT Development in Virtual Reality. During this time, they migrated a software called "XDE" to a Virtual Reality Platform and developed a user interface for manipulating virtual scenes. Julien then moved to Air Liquide in 2013, where they worked on IT Development projects related to medical research. Julien was responsible for tasks such as migration of a 3D viewer for DICOM images and implementation of additional functionalities in a software for 3D lung tree visualization. In 2014, Julien joined ERDF and worked on automation of functional and conformance tests for the smart electric meter "Linky". Julien ensured maintenance of the testing software and also developed a test bench for communication between PCOs and the software. In 2015, they worked at Theoris SAS, where they focused on IT Development for 2D/3D visualization software, specifically for planning interventions in nuclear power plants. Julien then joined IRD in 2015 and took on the role of Software Developer/Scientific animator for GAMA, where they were responsible for maintenance, bug resolution, and release versions of the GAMA software. Most recently, Julien has been working at FieldPro (By Optimetriks) since 2017. Julien initially started as a Software Engineer/Tech lead and later transitioned to the role of Tech lead full stack. In this role, Julien manages a small team of developers, ensures the good quality of the application developed, provides a solid development environment, and actively participates in application development.
Julien Mazars obtained an Engineering Degree in IT - Knowledge Engineering and Media Information from UTC, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Julien also participated in an exchange semester at UVM (University of Viña del Mar) Chile in 2010 and another exchange semester at TUT (Technological University of Tallinn) Estonia in 2012 and 2013. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed various courses from Lynda.com, including "Building a Website with Node.js and Express.js," "Node.js Essential Training," "Learning PHP," "PHP with MySQL Essential Training: 1 The Basics," "PHP with MySQL Essential Training: 2 Build a CMS," "Programming Foundations: Web Security," "CSS Essential Training 1," "CSS Essential Training 2," "HTML Essential Training," and "JavaScript Essential Training." These certifications were obtained between August and October of 2017.
