Reema Poddar

Reema Poddar is a corporate executive and advisor who has experience in product management, product engineering, and technology innovation. Reema is currently an advisor at OptimEyes.ai, and has previously held positions at Accion Labs, the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, and Teradata.

Poddar has been instrumental in implementing and providing thought leadership, strategic, market, and technology directions that have accelerated the growth and differentiation strategy of Teradata. Reema has led a product P&L valued over $2 billion, and has championed and successfully increased R&D investment while moving the organization from siloed, waterfall, legacy, project-based to modern, agile, devops well integrated product tech organization.

Under Poddar's guidance, Teradata has seen a drastic improvement in the lead time KPI to close cloud deals quickly, reducing it from 2500 hrs to <30 minutes. Reema has also launched the Cloud Demo & Trial program which has accelerated customer time to value, ecosystem & partner integration. As a result of these initiatives, Teradata's cloud revenue has grown from low $ thousands to + $160 MM with solid growth of ARR to 176% YOY.

Poddar is recognized as a cloud data and analytics leader by Gartner & Forrester.

Reema Poddar has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University, and a Master's Degree in Physics with a specialization in Nuclear Physics & Electronics from Mahatma Gandhi University.
