Sydney Van Sinden possesses extensive experience in institutional giving and development within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving at Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services since August 2019, Sydney has previously held roles such as Development Manager for Annual Giving and Executive Assistant within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions at Disabled Student Programs and Services at Long Beach City College, the College to Career Program, and Mills College Office of Institutional Advancement as the TOP Coordinator. Sydney holds a Bachelor's Degree in English with an Emphasis in Creative Writing and Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies from Mills College, obtained in 2018.
