Christopher Bayliss

Christopher Bayliss currently serves as SVP and General Counsel at Optimizely since February 2022, while also being a Charter Member at TechGC, an independent community for General Counsel. Prior to this role, Christopher managed a legal practice specializing in technology, digital, and agricultural law for startups and emerging growth companies from August 2021 to February 2022. Christopher's extensive experience in legal counsel includes positions such as Chief Legal Counsel and Deputy General Counsel at SAP, as well as VP roles at SAP Ariba and Quadrem. Christopher's legal career began with partnerships at Tress Cox Maddox and Bayliss Rodgers. Christopher holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Queensland, a Master's in Agricultural Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Melbourne.
