Heather Kant

Heather Kant has over 8 years of work experience in the design industry. Heather began their career in 2011 as a UI/UX Designer at Blue Global Media, where they designed original email layouts and seasonal campaign development with print and digital design. In 2013, they worked as an Apparel Designer at Primal Wear, where they designed original cycling apparel designs and assisted with photoshoots. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Website Designer at eBags, where they designed original email layouts and seasonal campaign development with print and digital design. Heather also edited and created custom HTML/PHP/CSS for Wordpress themes at GoDaddy in 2015. Between 2016 and 2017, they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer for both Arizona Facility Supply and Yandy.com, where they set creative standards and guidelines for all campaigns and designed original email layouts. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Design Manager and Sr UI/UX Designer at OPTiMO Information Technology, where they translated business requirements and user research into wireframes and mockups, mentored other UX designers, designed user journeys and flows, and collaborated with project teams. Most recently, they worked as a Website Designer at Talking Stick Resort, where they set creative standards and guidelines for the team and designed original email layouts.

Heather Kant's education history includes completing a Diploma from Alliance High School between 1997 and 2001, followed by Bachelor Studies including Engineering, Visual Communications, & Sculpture at the University of Wyoming from 2001 to 2002. Heather then earned an Associates of Arts, Visual Communication in Graphic Design & Digital Video from Collins College from 2002 to 2004. In 2011 and 2012, they obtained a Conversion Optimization Practitioner Master Certificate from Market Motive. In 2015 and 2016, they completed Wordpress Development, CSS, and PHP courses from Team Treehouse. In 2019, they earned an Adobe Certificate in Advanced Photoshop Essentials from Adobe [Lumenbrite]. In addition, they hold various certifications from LinkedIn in 2020, including Public Trust Clearance and Arizona Gaming Licence from the United States Postal Service and Talking Stick Resort, respectively.
