Jordan Machalek

Jordan Machalek has held various positions in the technology and farming industries. In 2020, they worked as a Software Developer II and Software Developer at OPTiMO Information Technology, where they were responsible for no-code and HTML/CSS/JS front-end development with Microsoft's Azure API Management Developer Portal, developing a front-end for an internal application with the Microsoft PowerApps platform, and mobile app development for iOS with Swift 5+/Xcode 13+. In 2018, they were a Geogames Designer and Developer at the School of Interactive Games and Media at RIT, where they used Unity 2018, Esri CityEngine, ArcGIS, and Open Street Maps to research existing geogames and develop a game titled Project Lily Pad. In 2017, they were an Information Technology Intern at Global Tungsten & Powders Corporation, where they worked alongside the IT team and a fellow intern in standard duties and a mass deployment of new desktop computers. In 2013, they worked as a Farm Hand at Seldom Seen Farm.

Jordan Machalek obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Game Design & Development, History Minor, and Digital Literatures and Comparative Media Immersion from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2020. Prior to that, they graduated from Northeast Bradford Junior/Senior High School with a High School Diploma in 2016.
