William Kirchner has over 20 years of professional experience in the software and technology sector. William started their career in 1998 as a Systems Administrator at First National Community Bank Dunmore. In 2000, they moved to MetLife as a Systems Administrator, where they administered a customer response center mission critical application used by 2,200 MetLife associates in 25 locations around the world. In 2009, they joined OPTiMO Information Technologies as an Internet Cloud Systems Engineer / Business Systems Analyst and Business Systems Analyst Sr. In their role as Business Systems Analyst Sr, they were the contractor - Operations Team Lead for the United States Postal Service's Information Technology Wilkes Barre division providing support for all aspects of USPS.com systems. In 2019, they joined the United States Postal Service as a Software Architect II.

William Kirchner's education history includes a Meteorology degree from Penn State University, obtained between 1986 and 1990. William then attended Microsoft between 1998 and 1999, where they obtained an MCP certification. From 2001 to 2011, they obtained an Information Systems and Technologies degree from Penn State University. In 2015, they completed an Amazon Web Services Technical Professional certification from Amazon Web Services. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, an AWS Technical Professional from Amazon Web Services, an Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University, and a Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft.
