Carlos Valdez, PE, is a seasoned energy engineer with extensive experience in the energy engineering sector. Currently serving as a Senior Energy Engineer and Sales at Optimum Energy since March 2015, Carlos has a proven track record in enterprise optimization solutions for top environmentally conscious Fortune 100 companies. Previous roles include Senior Energy Engineer at EFM Solutions and ownership of MVC Incorporated, where Carlos conducted ASHRAE Level 2 energy assessments. Carlos's career at Optimum Energy began in 2008, progressing from Energy Engineer to Energy Engineer II, coupled with earlier experience at the California Center for Sustainable Energy. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, obtained in 2005.
