Jennifer Trajano Maland, LMFT, currently serves as the DBT Clinical Director at Evolve Adolescent Behavioral Health since February 2024 and as a DBT Trainer at Optimum Performance Institute since October 2020. Jennifer has extensive experience in providing therapy for adolescents and adults, particularly focusing on eating disorders, mood disorders, and family dynamics at LifeStance Health from June 2020 to May 2024. Previous roles include Group Therapist and Primary Therapist at Alsana, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice. Jennifer commenced professional training as a psychotherapist under supervision in 2013 and has held various positions in the admissions and intake departments at Clearview Treatment Programs and La Ventana Treatment Programs. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Pacific.
Optimum Performance Institute
OPI is a co-ed treatment program for struggling young adults ages 17-28. We treat a variety of behavioral health issues in a real-world environment. We support our participants through therapy and life coaching while they explore and pursue their passions in the community with school, work, and volunteer opportunities in the Woodland Hills area of California. We have been named "Best in Treatment" by Psychology Today magazine for young adult men and women struggling with borderline personality disorder.
