Samra Asfaw, MA, has a background in Kinesiology and Exercise Science with a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge. Samra further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. Currently, Samra holds the position of Program Director and Life Coach at Optimum Performance Institute. Prior to this, Samra worked as a Physical Education Teacher at YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles and as a Program Assistant at Pacific Clinics.

Optimum Performance Institute
OPI is a co-ed treatment program for struggling young adults ages 17-28. We treat a variety of behavioral health issues in a real-world environment. We support our participants through therapy and life coaching while they explore and pursue their passions in the community with school, work, and volunteer opportunities in the Woodland Hills area of California. We have been named "Best in Treatment" by Psychology Today magazine for young adult men and women struggling with borderline personality disorder.
