Paul Berghmans is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and sorting industries. Currently serving as the Executive Chairman of the Board at Optimum Sorting since July 2017, Paul assists the executive team in driving the company's growth. As the founder of Technology & Design bvba, Paul has been coaching young entrepreneurs in strategic business planning and offering interim management since 1996. Paul’s previous roles include Advisor to the Board at Locadream and Viloc NV, investor with Business Angels Network Vlaanderen, and Director of Special Projects at Tomra Sorting Food. With a strong foundation in electronic engineering from Barco-Elbicon, Paul co-founded BEST Sorting, where Paul served as CEO and was instrumental in product development and operations.
