Aaron White

Head Of Networks at Options

Aaron White has extensive experience in network engineering and administration. Aaron began their career as a Senior Network Administrator at TeleTech International, where they designed and supported the company's network in Australia and across Asia. Aaron also played a key role in the design and installation of a 400-seat site in Seoul, South Korea, utilizing Cisco switches, routers, and Checkpoint firewalls. Afterward, White worked as a Systems Engineer at Computer Systems Australia, providing IT design, integration, and support services for various customers. Aaron implemented WAN infrastructure across multiple sites, including voice and data traffic support and internet connectivity using Cisco routers, switches, and Pix firewalls. White then joined Barclays Global Investors as a Senior Network Engineer, serving in this position for several years. At Instinet Corporation, they worked as a Network Engineer before eventually joining Options Technology as the Head of Networks. In this role, they led a team, managed network operations in a high-availability environment, designed networks to support evolving business requirements, and implemented network automation using Python Ansible and Netbox. White also played a role in capacity planning and had responsibilities in hiring and mentoring.

Aaron White attended Sydney Technical High School, although the start and end years are unknown. After completing high school, they went on to study at the University of Technology Sydney from 2002 to 2005. During their time at the university, Aaron pursued a Master of Science in Internetworking, with a focus on Information Technology.
