Optiserve BV is a Netherlands-based provider of advanced optical sorting solutions, helping manufacturers in the food and non-food industries optimize quality, yield, and operational efficiency. With deep expertise in machine development, refurbishment, and process consulting, we support customers transitioning from manual to automated quality control.

Our flagship product, Xcalibur, sets a new standard in optical sorting technology. Unlike conventional sorters, Xcalibur goes beyond basic separation by classifying products using advanced optical object recognition that evaluates colour, size, shape, and structure in real time. This enables extremely accurate sorting with high throughput, reduced energy consumption, and lower operational costs.

Xcalibur’s patented “intelligent puffing” system combined with its high-speed conveyor design delivers industry-leading performance. The system is ideally suited for demanding applications such as potato products, vegetables, fruit and other food processing segments where precision and consistency are critical.

Our comprehensive service offering includes:
- Optical sorting systems such as Xcalibur for enhanced quality control
- Refurbishment and resale of sorting machines to extend equipment lifecycles
- Yield optimization and waste reduction solutions
- Consulting and process optimization tailored to specific production environments

At Optiserve, we combine technical innovation with hands-on implementation to help manufacturers improve product quality, reduce manual labour, and strengthen their competitive position.
