Prasad Velaga

Prasad Velaga, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of optimization and scheduling, currently serving as President of OPTISOL LLC since June 2004, where the focus is on developing software solutions for project and production scheduling. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at Knowledge Based Systems Inc from January 1999 to June 2004, working on projects for the Department of Defense and NASA, analyzing scheduling paradigms for complex problems. Additionally, Prasad held a Visiting Scientist position at Texas A&M University and a Visiting Associate Professor role at Washington State University, contributing to theoretical research and teaching.
