Matt Circosta

Matt Circosta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matt is currently working as a Business Development Manager at OPTISYS since April 2023. Previously, they worked as an Independent Consultant, serving as a Technical Project Manager from November 2022 to April 2023. Before that, they worked at Tanium from June 2019 to September 2022, holding positions such as Senior Technical Project Manager and Project Manager Lead. Matt also has experience as an Aviation Operations and Security Consultant at Mercer Consulting Solutions, LLC from March 2016 to June 2019. Prior to that, they had a successful career in the U.S. Air Force, serving as the Director of Special Projects from 2013 to 2016 and as a Special Operations Section Leader from 2007 to 2013. Matt also co-owned Anderson Creek Crossfit from August 2012 to October 2014, where they played a crucial role in securing funding, facilities, and staffing for the franchise, and eventually selling the business for a profit. Overall, Matt has demonstrated their expertise in business development, project management, consulting, and military operations throughout their career.

Matt Circosta has a diverse education history. Matt started in 1994 by attending the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, where they pursued Korean Studies and obtained a Basic Linguist certificate. After that, from 1998 to 2000, Matt attended Hawaii Pacific University and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Supervisory Leadership.

Matt then pursued their aviation interests and enrolled in the Community College of the Air Force from 2002 to 2013. During this time, they earned an Associate's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations. Additionally, Matt obtained certification as an Air Traffic Controller from the Federal Aviation Administration in August 2002.

Continuing with their education, Matt attended the American Public University System from 2010 to 2014, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business.

In terms of certifications, Matt obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in January 2020. Matt also holds a Remote Operator (Commercial UAV Pilot) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. The exact dates for their UAV certification are not provided.
