Danny Pickens

Danny Pickens is an experienced professional in cybersecurity and intelligence, currently serving as the Practice Director for Enterprise Incident Management at Optiv Inc since November 2020. With a background in defense and education, Danny acts as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Shawnee Mission School District and has held multiple prominent roles in the United States Army Reserve, including Intelligence NCOIC and Platoon Sergeant. Danny has also excelled in various positions at Fidelis Cybersecurity, where responsibilities included senior product marketing and threat research leadership. Prior roles encompass significant contributions to Optiv's Managed Security Services, intelligence analysis at ManTech, and military intelligence with both the United States Marine Corps and BAE Systems. Danny holds a B.S. in Information Systems Security and is a certified Malware Investigator.
