Joe Berry

Joe Berry is a Principal Consultant specializing in Threat Management, Attack & Penetration Services at Optiv Inc since November 2018, where security assessments including network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing are delivered. Previously, Joe served as a Lead Senior Information Security Consultant at Sungard Availability Services, conducting attack simulations and phishing campaigns. Prior roles include Information Solutions Advisor at USAA, where gap analysis for E2E controls was performed, and Systems Engineer Sr at Lockheed Martin, providing systems engineering support for defense systems. Joe began a career in technical support with Bexar County Information Services and held sales roles at Rackspace Managed Hosting and Sprint/Nextel. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of the Incarnate Word.
