Joshua Deakins

Joshua Deakins, PMP, is a Senior Manager for Global Data and Digital Technology at Optiv since April 2022. Previously, at Emerson Automation Solutions from June 2012 to April 2022, Joshua served as IT Director for Digital Engineering Solutions, managing an agile software development team and driving cross-functional programs to enhance digital customer experiences. Joshua also held the position of Senior IT Manager, where responsibilities included launching a Product Lifecycle Management department and overseeing key initiatives related to business systems software development. Prior to this, Joshua worked as a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Manufacturing at Builders FirstSource/Probuild, conducting gap analysis on legacy ERP systems and facilitating the transition to Oracle ERP. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Colorado Denver.
