MacIej Kwiatkowski

Maciej Kwiatkowski is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing electronic systems, particularly in the fields of FPGA engineering and data acquisition. Currently employed at Optiver since September 2021, Kwiatkowski previously served as Lead FPGA Engineer at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, focusing on X-ray imaging and detector systems. Kwiatkowski's background includes roles at CERN, where contributions were made to Beam Loss Monitoring and Machine Protection systems, and at Soltan Institute for Nuclear Studies, involving the design of digital CCD cameras and acquisition electronics. An academic background consists of a Ph.D. in Electronics and multiple degrees in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology.
