Sebastian Born is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of ETF Institutional Sales APAC at Optiver since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sebastian worked at Flow Traders Hong Kong Ltd. as an Institutional Trader from October 2018 to June 2022 and previously held the position of ETF Institutional Trader at Flow Traders from April 2015 to September 2018. Early career experiences include a role in ETP Product Management at Deutsche Bank and internships at PwC in Risk Management Banking, as well as Deutsche Börse in Clearing & Risk Operations. Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Finanzmathematik from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Bachelor of Science in Angewandte Mathematik from Georg August Universität Göttingen.
