Tom Elcock

Tom Elcock has extensive experience in trading and finance, currently serving as a Trader at Optiver since November 2015, focusing on Index & Rates since 2024, and previously on the S&P Complex from 2018 to 2024. Prior to Optiver, Tom completed a Trainee Trader role at Citi in the summer of 2015 and held positions as a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst at Spayne Lindsay & Co in July 2014 and as an M&A Intern at Barnett Waddingham LLP in July 2013. Early career experiences also include an Actuarial Intern role at Barnett Waddingham LLP in July 2013 and a Fundraising Campaign Caller position at Shrewsbury School in July 2011. Tom holds a Master's Degree in Finance & Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, both from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
