Graham Van Den Berg started their work experience in 2022 as a CNC lathe and CNC mill Operator at JHPE PRECISION MANUFACTURING. Graham operated CNC lathes, CNC mills, and a laser engraving machine during their time there. Graham then worked as a CAD Designer and 3D printer for a private individual, where they completed freelance CAD work and 3D printed projects for clients. In 2022, they also interned at SIMTEQ Engineering (Pty) Ltd as a Finite Element Analysis models intern, where they transcribed tutorial videos, designed display models, and created a compliant mechanism. In 2022, they also worked at RealityOEM as an Arduino Engineer, where they constructed and coded an Arduino-based test jig prototype. Graham also worked at Rapid Mobile - Pty Ltd as a Computer Aided Design Engineer in 2023, where they fixed a broken test jig by redesigning its parts and designing PCBs. Currently, Graham is working at Optix as a Product Development Engineer.

Graham Van Den Berg completed their Matriculation degree at Sasolburg High School from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2020 to 2023. Prior to their mechanical engineering studies, they briefly attended the same university in 2019 to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering, although they did not specify a field of study for that program. Additionally, they obtained an Employment Ready Certification from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in May 2019.
