Ozan Gözbaşı

Co-Founder & CEO at Optiyol

Ozan Gözbaşı is a Turkish entrepreneur and the Co-Founder & CEO of Optiyol, a company that provides AI for Transportation. Prior to founding Optiyol, Ozan worked as a Manager of Advanced Analytics and Operations Research at PlusOneMinusOne Software and Consulting, where they oversaw algorithm development and research for software applications of operations research. Ozan also worked as an Instructor at Özyeğin University, teaching courses in Risk Management, Production Planning, and Scheduling. In addition to their work in the private sector, Ozan has also worked as an independent consultant for both operations research and software development.

Ozan Gözbaşı holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University. Ozan also attended Izmir Fen Lisesi for high school, where they studied math and science, and N.M. Kucukcalik Anadolu Lisesi and Ahmet Paşa İlkokulu for elementary and middle school, respectively.
