Chris Caldwell

Chris Caldwell has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Software Developer at Opto 22 since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at PROJECT 99-PLAY FOR LIFE INC from January 2019 to January 2022. In this role, they contributed to overall site improvements and created custom donation functionality using JavaScript/AJAX and the YUI API. Chris also worked on WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, and custom code tweaks for event registration.

From April 2019 to August 2021, Chris was the Lead Developer at StuffRide, where they dockerized infrastructure and implemented API schema in Laravel PHP with secure OAuth 2.0 authentication.

Before that, from January 2015 to December 2016, Chris worked as a Supplemental Instructor and Programming Tutor at Mt. San Jacinto College. Chris designed supplemental instruction lessons and mentored students in various programming languages and subjects, achieving increased student retention and academic achievement.

Chris also has previous experience as a Spa Coordinator at Mii amo, a destination spa, where they provided exceptional service recovery measures and ensured world-class customer experiences.

Chris Caldwell completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Mt. San Jacinto College, where they studied from 2011 to 2017. After that, from 2018 to 2020, they attended California State University, Monterey Bay, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Furthermore, Chris obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in October 2017.
