Lorenzo Franco Spanu is a mechanical designer currently employed at Opto Engineering since October 2022, focusing on the mechanical design of components such as lenses, lighting, and cameras in collaboration with R&D designers and production personnel. Prior to this role, Lorenzo worked at Negri S.r.l from July 2021 to October 2022, where responsibilities included mechanical design and sheet metal technician tasks involving bending and cutting processes. Lorenzo is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Università degli Studi di Parma, expected to graduate in September 2024, and holds a diploma in mechanical and mechatronic fields from Istituto Superiore "Enrico Fermi" Mantova. Additionally, a certification in Autodesk Inventor was obtained from Athenagroup srl in 2021.
