Alexis Rieger

Alexis Rieger currently serves as Head of Legal - Investment Management and Associate General Counsel at Opto Investments since April 2022. Prior to this role, Alexis Rieger worked at Brookfield Asset Management from 2011 to April 2022, holding the position of Director & Legal Counsel in the Public Securities Group, where responsibilities included legal counsel focusing on private funds, international products, corporate governance, and contracts. Earlier experience includes roles as Vice President and Associate General Counsel in the Public Securities Group at Kleinberg, Kaplan, Wolff & Cohen, P.C., and as an Associate at Alston & Bird LLP, concentrating on investment management and securities. Alexis Rieger began a career at Credit Suisse First Boston as an Associate in Equity Research after earning a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law (2004-2007) and a BA from Yale University (1998-2002).
