Henry Barklam

Henry Barklam is a Full Stack Engineer at Opto Investments since July 2023, following a role as a Deep Learning Researcher at Duke General Robotics Lab. Previously, Henry served as a Course Instructor for Duke's Quantum Information Society, teaching Applied Quantum Computing. Other significant experiences include transforming backend systems and developing automated workflows at Opto Investments, launching causal inference models at Duke Global Neurosurgery and Neurology, and upgrading neural network models for prosthetic hand functionality at Duke eNable. Henry holds a triple major in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Neuroscience from Duke University and has been involved in various projects and leadership programs throughout the academic career.
