Nicholas Downer

Nicholas Downer currently serves as the Head of Advisory Services and Co-Head of Advisory Services at Opto Investments since January 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President at PIMCO from April 2020 to January 2022, where Nicholas managed accounts within the RIA and Bank Trust channel of the Private Client Group. Prior to PIMCO, Nicholas held the position of Head of Strategic Relationships and Vice President at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management from October 2012 to April 2020. Nicholas began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Jefferies & Company in 2011. Nicholas earned a degree from Dartmouth College (2007-2011) after completing education at Phillips Exeter Academy (2003-2006).
