Ujas Mandavia

Ujas Mandavia is a seasoned software engineer specializing in perception, mapping, and localization, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at OKSI since February 2025. Prior to this role, Ujas held similar positions at Forterra and Magna Electronics Limited, where responsibilities included software engineering focused on mapping and localization. Ujas began a career at Thales Defense & Security, Inc. as a Software Engineer in visual inertial state estimation and conducted graduate research at the Field Robotics Lab at Northeastern University, developing advanced real-time SLAM systems and visual odometry techniques. Ujas holds a Master of Science in Robotics, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics from Gujarat Technological University.
