Martin Shaw

Martin Shaw is the current Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Optoro. Martin has over ten years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Prior to joining Optoro, Martin Shaw worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Carey International from November 2013 to February 2016. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and performing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and P&L analysis for the company. Martin also assisted with the coordination and implementation of the annual corporate budget process and interim forecasts.

From February 2011 to November 2013, Shaw worked as an Intellectual Property & Science Division, Global Sales Operations & Finance Senior Analyst at Thomson Reuters. In this role, they were responsible for creating financial and statistical Excel models to measure customer profitability and the effectiveness of marketing promotional campaigns.

Shaw holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Martin Shaw completed their undergraduate studies at Princeton University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory. Martin then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance at the University of Maryland.
