Ralph Pinnock

Ralph Pinnock has worked for several companies throughout their career. Ralph started as a Junior Research Fellow at De Montfort University in 2001 and worked in that role until 2004. In 2004, they briefly worked as a Consultant Programmer at De Montfort University. Then, in 2005, they joined Belfast NHS trust as a Research Officer and remained in that position until 2011. Since 2011, Ralph has been employed at Optos, initially as a Software Engineer from July 2011 to August 2015, and then as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2015 to the present.

Ralph Pinnock pursued their education at various institutions. Ralph began their academic journey at the University of Leicester, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics in 1997. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same university and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Earth Observation Science in 1998. Ralph furthered their studies at De Montfort University, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Remote Sensing for a period spanning from 1998 to 2001.
