Joseph Nasr

Joseph Nasr is a skilled engineering professional with a strong background in product development, robotics, and automation. Currently serving as a Product Development Engineer at Optotune since May 2022, Joseph Nasr focuses on simulating and optimizing electromagnetic actuators and creating customized solutions tailored to customer requirements. Prior experience includes a role as a Robotics and Automation Engineer at Philip Morris International, where Joseph Nasr developed an automated lab process utilizing collaborative robots and designed specialized robotic grippers. Joseph Nasr also gained foundational experience through internships at DG Jones and Partners and Pierre Dammous & Partners as a mechanical engineering consultant. Joseph Nasr holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from EPFL and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
