Michelle Govan has over 22 years of work experience. In 2020, they began working as the Credit and Collections Manager for Optronics International LLC. Prior to that, they worked at Verizon from 2013 to 2020, where they held the roles of Billing Solutions Analyst and Credit and Collections Analyst. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Enterprise Holdings Inc. as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor. In this role, they supervised 8 Accounts Receivable Coordinators and was responsible for approving adjustments, approving payroll time, mentoring and developing their team, and maintaining good morale. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Amerigas Propane as a Customer Relations Representative, where they handled customer orders and complaints, collected on delinquent accounts, and coordinated service calls. Lastly, they worked at Hilti from 1998 to 2009 as a Senior Credit Analyst, where they managed and maintained receivables of more than 3 million dollars and extended credit to new accounts.

Michelle Govan began their educational journey in 1985 when they attended Tulsa Junior College for General Studies. In 1995, they obtained a Diploma from Career Point Business School in Accounting, Data Entry, Medical Transcription, and Administration. Michelle then attended University of Phoenix - Tulsa from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management. Finally, they completed a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University in 2017.
