Simone Hamm

Simone Hamm holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources from Brock University. Currently serving as the Interim Director of Labour & Employee Relations at OPTrust since June 2023, Simone provides strategic leadership in employee and labour relations, focusing on grievance management and compliance. Prior to this role, Simone spent over four years at Scotiabank, first as Director HRBP and DEI Lead for Global Wealth Management, where responsibilities included talent strategy partnerships and leading diversity initiatives, and previously as Senior Manager, HRBP for International Wealth Management. Earlier experience includes roles at Rogers Communications, where Simone served as Senior Manager for Human Resources and the Sharespace Experience team, and at Holt Renfrew and RONA in various HR capacities, emphasizing strategic partnerships, talent management, and process improvements. Simone is certified as a Chartered Human Resources Leader (CHRL), Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and Certified Leadership Coach (CLC).
