Wancheng Wang

Wancheng Wang is an experienced investment risk analyst with a strong background in financial modeling and risk assessment. Currently serving as an Investment Risk Analyst at OPTrust since March 2022, Wancheng previously contributed to Manulife as an Investment Risk Analyst, where expertise in developing factor models and researching Environmental Social Governance impacts on asset valuation was demonstrated. Earlier positions at OPTrust included roles as an Investment Research Analyst and an Investment Risk Analyst, where proficiency in Python and VBA for risk modeling and portfolio management was developed. Wancheng's analytical skills were further honed during tenures at the Canadian Securities Transition Office, Scotiabank, and Founder Securities Co., Ltd. Wancheng holds a Master's degree in Financial Risk Management from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Analysis and Risk Management from the University of Waterloo.
